When it comes to having a comfortable stay with amazing facilities, Aamod at Bhimtal has the best on offer. The accommodation in the resort is available in two separate blocks. The front block not only houses rooms but also the reception, lobby, conference hall, restaurants along with a terrace bar. The side block built with a sense of privacy houses the cottage styled rooms & spa. It is connected to the front block by meandering pathway lending a sense of community while maintaining individual privacy.
There are three categories of rooms in this Bhimtal resort – Standard, Deluxe & Suite rooms, all with sit outs. All the rooms have king-size double bed, Television with cable connection, intercom, hot & cold water, tea/ coffee maker, air-conditioning and room heating.

Sightseeing activities provides an excellent opportunity to venture out of the resort. We at Aamod encourage you to use your exploratory & artistic skills to bring out a navigator cum photographer in you. A list of “must do” things is mentioned below.
Boating & Angling: Bhimtal Lake is the largest among the nine lakes in the Lake District of Kumaon.
Trekking & Hiking: Under the guidance of our trained activity team, you can trek and hike in the surrounding hills and forests.
Bird-watching: The sweet chirping of birds will add melody to your life. Bird-watchers will be delighted to find migratory birds in the autumn and winter months.
Bhimtal: Bhimtal with places of religious interest & serene lakes is named after the Pandava prince from the hindu epic Mahabharata and is blessed with natural beauty. One of the most popular attractions among tourists is Bhimtal Lake. The island in the middle of the lake is most striking feature.
Temples-visits: The historical Bhimkeshwar temple is situated next to an old Victorian dam at the corner of the Bhimtal Lake. Another popular temple is situated nearby called Godhakhal Temple.
Nal Damyanti Tal (2 Km): About 2 km from Bhimtal is Nal Damyanti Tal, a small natural lake. This lake is named after the famous mythological characters, King Nal and his wife Damayanti.
Hidimba Parvat (5 Km): About 5 km from Bhimtal is a hill known as Hidimba Parvat. It gets its name from demon Hidimba of Mahabharata. Vankhandi Maharaj, a monk and environmentalist lives on the hill now, and has created a sanctuary for the wild animals around the hill. The area is known as Vankhandi Ashram.
Naukuchiatal (6km): It is the deepest lake with nine corners, flocked by migratory birds in the winters. It is one of the most picturesque lakes in Kumaon, surrounded by oak forests. Other than boating and angling, Naukuchiatal also offers paragliding for enthusiasts.
Sattal (11 km): A group of seven interconnected freshwater lakes set amidst dense pine and oak forests. The whole area is a popular stop for migratory birds and is a bird watchers paradise. One of the places to visit in the area is the Butterfly Museum built by Frederic Smetacek at the nearby Jones Estate, which has over 2,500 butterfly and moth specimens and 1,100 species of insects that are found in this region.
Nainital (21km): With the large mango shaped Lake occupying the heart of the town, this place is flocked by tourists for its many temples, bustling market selling local handicrafts to designer brands. Popularly known as the ‘Lake District’, Nainital has always been a popular spot among travelers seeking natural beauty and scenic sights. Along with its lofty mountains, glittering lakes, Nainital also offers modern pleasures like adventure and water sports.
Almora: Almora is situated in the midst of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1650 meters above sea-level on a 5km long mountain slope between rivers Suyal and Kosi. Popularly known as the king of mountains and abode of the gods, it is the cultural centre of the entire Kumaon region.
Mukteshwar: Famous for spectacular views of mighty Himalayas this place is also very famous for the temple of Lord Shiva known as the ‘Mukteshwar Dham’.
Ranikhet: Dotted with pine, oak and deodar forests, this picturesque place is a perfect place for a quiet getaway. There is a multitude of wildlife to be found here like the sambar, leopard cat, barking deer, mountain goat, jackal, langoor, red fox, and porcupine, etc.
Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary: Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a virtual heaven for nature lovers as the place is rich in flora and fauna. One can also have spectacular sight of the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains.

Cancellation Policy
* Reservation cancelled / amended before 30 days prior to the check-in shall be exempted from cancellation charge.
* One night stay on pro rata basis shall be levied for cancellation / amendment received up to 15 days prior to check-in.
* There shall be no refunds for cancellation received within 15 days prior to check-in or “No Show” or “Early check out”.
* Check-in time is 1400 Hours & Check-out time is 1100 Hours.
