“Serenity” is a resort nestled in a Mango orchard, surrounded by dense forest, hillocks and River Kosi providing picturesque and serene environment to the Guest. It is located about 5 kms away from Corbett Park’s entry gate Bijrani (famous for tiger sighting) on Ranikhet road in Dhikuli village.

The resort comprises of a Gol Ghar restaurant, Swimming pool, activity room and a conference hall with lot of open spaces to move around. In Serenity seasonal vegetables and herbs are grown organically and used in the kitchen.
The resort is borne out of passion for nature and its preservation. Its caretakers are committed to promoti on of sustainable eco-friendly tourism. Keeping this goal in mind, utmost care has been taken while developing the resort to ensure that not a single tree is uprooted, even if that meant altering the project plans. Few rooms had to be downsized to save the trees. Award winning Shankar Balram septic tank has been installed for toilets. Solar heating system has been installed to provide hot water and CFLs are being used to illuminate the resort. Apart from this, the employees are continuously trained to follow eco friendly practices like avoiding use of plastic, appropriate garbage dumping practices etc. In all activities for establishment of the resort, local artisans and work force have been made use of. Our guests are requested to help support this cause by minimizing use of electricity, plastic and promoting reuse of towels, bed sheets, linen etc
There are 22 air conditioned rooms with attached bath on a total land area of three acres. The rooms are spacious with two chairs , central table, double bed with side table, spring mattresses, blinds and LCD television in each room. There is tea/coffee maker in each room. The rooms are of two types: Deluxe and Family rooms. Deluxe rooms are on the ground floor with private lawns. Family rooms are on the first floor with duplex for the kids. Family rooms have separate balconies and provide splendid natural view.
Open Jeep Safari: Open Jeep safari into the grasslands and jungle searching for tiger or a herd of wild elephants is the highlight of any visit to corbett national park. Common wildlife sightings include the spotted deer, wild boars, sambar, barking deer, rhesus macaques, langur monkeys, peacocks and a herd of wild elephants. Corbett park in India is a paradise for birdwatchers, and is home to over 580 different species of birds.
Elephant Rides: An elephant ride through the dense forest of Corbett is a entirely unique experience. Being able to reach the most dense parts of the jungle and cross rivers, an elephant ride will take you to spots which are otherwise inaccessible by vehicles. Definitely increases your chances of greeting a tiger relaxing under the dense bushes!
Attractions around the place: The Sitavani Ashram in the virgin forest area, the Corbett Museum which houses memorabilia of the legendary Jim Corbett, the Garjia temple by the river, the Kaladungi falls and many more. You can go for nature walks on the Garjia, Dhikala Road or on Bijrani Road, trek into the forest across River Kosi, visit the local village to share the simple joys of the native folk, or just dip your feet in the pond in the resort.
Longer drives would get you to the Lake District of Nainital and Or Queen of hills like Ranikhet, Almora and Kausani. Nainital is just an hour and half away and can be visited as a day trip. Ranikhet with its awesome views of the snow capped Himalayas is three hours away. No other place would offer an experience of the mysterious forest, the tranquil lakes and the majestic Himalayas, all in one vacation and all just a couple of hours away.
At about 45 minutes drive from Ramnagar lies the remount training school near hempur and a short distance through the RTS, lies the Tumeria Dam. The structure in itself is a fun place to visit and educational for all, be it children or serious bird watchers. It is a rich attraction for migratory as well as domestic feathers.
En-route to Dhikala at about 5 Kms. from “Serenity” there is a huge rock perching out of the Kosi River bed and on the pinnacle is a beautiful temple of Durga Devi named as Garjia temple. A place good for bathing, basking, worshipping has an enchanting view of river Kosi from the top of the rock. A large fair is held here on Kartik Poornima.
Corbett museum is Jim Corbett’s home at Kaladungi, around 32 Kms from Ramnagar on Nainital Road, now a museum which houses memorabilia of the legendry hunter.
En-route to Kaladungi are Corbett Falls – an ideal and scenic place for day picnics.
